Hope in Motion 2008
On Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008, over 500 enthusiastic participants were
on hand for Lazarex Cancer Foundation's Hope In Motion 5/10K run,
taking place at Lake Merritt. The race began at 8 a.m. and the
weather was cool with clear, sunny skies - perfect race day
conditions.
Volunteers from the C.A. Track Club, Lazarex and other groups made
sure the race was organized, on time, and that all the runners and
walkers stayed hydrated. Congratulations to all 5/10K attendees.

next year's race on Sept. 13, 2009, which will include a 5/10K and a
half-marathon distance.
