It's About Life Northern California Gala - October 18, 2008  

The Lazarex Cancer Foundation "It's About Life" Gala on Saturday October 18th was a huge sold-out success, with over $200,000 raised thanks to your support. Over 300 people came to learn more and support the Lazarex Cancer Foundation and our goal to Change the Face of Cancer, One Life at a Time.

Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner and cocktails, heard stories from our VIPs (Very Important Patients), and watched our moving video about all that we have accomplished this year with help from supporters like you.

As always, Steve Haworth provided lots of energy and excitement for our live auction, which featured exclusive travel, food, wine, spa, and jewelry items. Thanks to everyone who bought an auction item, or tickets for one of the prizes we had throughout the evening, including an adorable Vespa!

The cap to the evening was fabulous music provided by The Sun Kings that got everyone up on their feet and dancing.
