Bridge to Hope Music Festival

The Bridge to Hope music festival on September 26^th opened to a day of sun and gentle breezes. Saint Gabriel’s Celestial Brass Band livened up the early crowd as they roamed the grounds of Fort Mason’s Great Meadow in San Francisco.

The first performers to take the stage were the Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir in full voice and glory. They were inspirational! The line up flowed from then on with A Taste of Honey, Orchesta D’Soul, Sax for Stax, Zakiya Hooker, Brian McKnight and Charlie Wilson.

It was a thoroughly enjoyable day with good food and colorful parasols in abundance. The event raised $50,000 and helped raise the visibility of Lazarex in the San Francisco and East Bay areas.
