End of year Appeal 2010

Dear Friends,
This year at Lazarex Cancer Foundation, we are celebrating YOU! Because of you, 5 Lazarex patients will celebrate this holiday season with their friends and families CANCER FREE. This is after being told to “get their affairs in order”. We are passing along to you, the gratitude of each and every patient and their families whose lives you have helped to transform. Your kindness has translated into hope for their future, restoration of their dignity and provided the gift of life.

The combined giving power of your donations has steered us through difficult economic times and propelled us forward to achieve significant milestones. In just 3 ½ years Lazarex has turned your generosity into compelling tangible results.

• We have provided financial assistance to patients in 26 states and 5 countries, participating in 21 different FDA clinical trials
• We have assisted patients with 38 different types of end stage cancer
• We have served patients from ages 4 to 83 with diverse ethnic backgrounds
• We are on track to complete 2010 with 90% of donations going to program services
• We have provided $2,003,389 to our end stage patients to defray the costs associated with their participation in clinical trials, enabling them to take advantage of medical breakthroughs today because they may not have a tomorrow

We have helped 81 patients achieve 23,964 days of life through FDA clinical trials AFTER they were told nothing else could be done and amazingly 5 are in remission!
This equates to over 65 years and counting!!!
